BAR HARBOR — College of the Atlantic’s Human Ecology Forum and the Acadia Family Center Speaker Series welcome integrative wellness counselor Dennis Kiley for a presentation entitled “Searching Your Darkness to Find Your Light.” The event takes place in McCormick Lecture Hall at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 and is free and open to the public.
Dennis Kiley holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bowdoin College and and M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). While in San Francisco, he was an accredited psychotherapist in private practice for several years. During this time, he was also the Teaching Assistant for the course “Non-dual Wisdom and Psychotherapy” at CIIS with noted teacher, author and psychotherapist John Prendergast.
Dennis is a student of Adyashanti and his teachings. In conjunction to his private practice, Integrative Wellness, Dennis is also on the counseling staff at the College of the Atlantic, and is co-founder of the Institute for Integrative Living.
The Human Ecology Forum is a free, weekly speaker series based on the work of the academic community, which also draws on artists, poets, and political and religious leaders from around the world. Members of the public are invited to attend. This week’s event is co-sponsored by the Acadia Family Center.
