IN A LAND NOT SO FAR AWAY … The Acadia Repertory Theatre in Somesville presents the revival of one of its most popular children’s theater offerings, an adaption of the classic Cinderella tale by Cheryl Willis. The cast includes, clockwise from lower left, Chrissy Taylor, Mary Paola, Marissa Browning, Griffin Shute and Desmond Reifsnyder. This 21st century update of the original tale is set on Mount Desert Island. Cinderella runs every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. except July 4. Contact 244-7260 or

ART STALWARTS … The 2018 Acadia Arts Achievement Award was presented June 17 to Amy and Charles Sidman of the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor at the annual Father’s Day Art on Deck event at Galyn’s Restaurant in Bar Harbor.
