Trevor Morrison and Fernando Avalos fell 8-2 in first doubles, and Whit Chaplin and Marshall Reiff fell 8-5 in second doubles.

“We haven’t had a lot of time to practice because of the weather, so that’s been kind of a downside to this season specifically,” said head coach Tyler Hunt.

He said he’s working on sparking more aggression at the net and improving consistency from the baseline.

“I feel like our doubles teams get little timid at times, and they have the skills to do it — it’s just we need to get in those practices to get the kids to develop those skills.”
