Goalkeeper Cody Lyford made eight saves on nine shots to post a shutout for the Presque Isle Wildcats in a 5-0 win over the MDI Trojans on Saturday in Presque Isle.
Ben Nickerson scored a pair of first-half goals and another in the second half and Tyler Seeley and Chase Norton also scored in the first win of the season for the Wildcats.
Simon Hulbert had 15 saves on 18 shots in goal for the Trojans.
