May has arrived, and it's time to start thinking about those post-freeze crops, including the gem of the garden - tomatoes! Stephanie, head grower at Frost Farms, is here to share some tips for planting and maintaining a beautiful crop of tomatoes here in Downeast Maine.

I started Frost Farms because I wanted to build a team who feel a sense of belonging and also grow our community of passionate plant people. Today, our company is thriving in so many ways because of the talented, fun and hard working people that are part of it. From our landscape and garden crews, to retail and design, to local contractors and architects, everyone we work with has the same goal in mind: to make a difference. I hope you will be inspired to join us this season!

Boothbay, Maine, native, Melissa Frost (affectionately known as Frosty) has had a passion for plants, beautifully landscaped gardens, and all things nature for as long as she can remember.
