To the Editor:
I read a recent letter to your paper from a Steve Curran from Surry
concerning the recent presidential voting. As I read the letter and his
assertions, Mr. Curry is saying that all the 70 million plus voters who
voted for President Trump had childlike beliefs and were full of anger.
He stated that anger and fear are what got people to the polls.
Obviously, Democratic voters were more childlike, angry and full of
false fear. As one deplorable voter, I did have some legitimate fear that
an almost 80–year–old man who shows many signs of dementia and a VP
candidate with scary views about accepting socialism and even some
communist ideas for our country would end up leading this great nation.
