To the Editor:
Will the kind soul who removed my snowshoes from the side of the trail at Wonderland please turn them in to the National Park Service headquarters?
I was snowshoeing on Friday, April 3, but there were too many exposed rocks for the trail to proceed on snowshoes. When I returned minutes later to pick them up, they were gone.
I believe you had a large yellow dog and a chocolate lab with you. They played with my dogs on the beach, and you called for them. I followed you back, and hoped you had left them at the trailhead, but alas, you did not. They are new snowshoes, and I really need them next year.
Thanks so much.
