Shaun M. Conley, 23, has gone home to hang out and rap with Jesus and play WoW with God, on March 19, 2021, at his home in Seal Harbor. Shaun graced this world with his presence on June 9, 1997 in Bar Harbor. Adored youngest son of Katherine M. Conley and his father, Joseph E. Conley.
Shaun attended MDI High School and received his GED in 2019 and briefly attended EMCC. He was employed as a roofer with S&S Exteriors. Shaun’s passions were writing and creating rap music, online gaming and developing friendships throughout the world. Shaun loved family gatherings and the company of his friends. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and skateboarding. And he loved his Bearded dragon Ryuk.
Shaun will always be remembered for his honest nature, his beautiful spirit and the way he’d light up the world around him for the better. He was very kind and respectful to so many, loved animals and had a deep respect for the Earth. He truly touched every soul around him and that will be cherished forever.
Shaun will be missed every day by his sister, Kayla M. Conley, and her partner Ben Silvernail of Bucksport; big brother Thomas Chase Hobbs and his wife, Leslie Antonelli-Hobbs, and his niece Eleanor Rose Hobbs of Bear, Del.; his gram, Judith L. Swett; auntie Terri Hanson and uncle Jim Hanson, all of Seal Harbor; many cousins, AJ, Monica and Travis, Collin and Katie, Donny, Robyn and Monique and Nich.
A private memorial service for family and friends will be held May 1 at the Abby Chapel (Seaside UCC) in Seal Harbor at 10 a.m., followed by a celebration of his life at the Lighthouse Restaurant.
