ELLSWORTH – Rev. Norma Cousins Smith, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, following a battle with cancer. She was born on March 22, 1934, in Northeast Harbor, the daughter of Elmer H. Cousins and Geraldine (Bradbury) Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Allan and Lawrence.
Norma’s life will be celebrated at a May 12 memorial service at the First Congregational Church of Ellsworth, and a private interment will take place at the Forest Hills cemetery in Northeast Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in her memory to the Maine Sea Coast Mission or to Hancock County Home Care and Hospice.
