November 12, 1948 – June 21, 2018.

On June 21, 2018, Philip Kloby of Steuben, formerly of Jersey City, N.J., passed away in Rockport, with loved ones at his side.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Theresa Kloby.

He is survived by his daughter Lee Kloby and her partner Frank Moya, daughter Jane Kloby, daughter Margaret Kloby and husband, David Mandy, mother of his children Claudia Zorn, brother Gerald Kloby, sister Susan Kloby and partner Greg Lemon, his beloved companion Harriet Corbett and many friends.

Philip was the proud grandfather of Kristen and Mick Boxhorn, and Eleanor and Spencer Mandy.

Philip was a football star at Marist High School in Bayonne, N.J., and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. A lover of music, nature, sarcasm and home repair, Philip was self-employed, specializing in heating and air conditioning. Philip’s legacy lives on in his hit songs “I Got One Good Woman Left in Me” and “Fast and Clean (Raking Machine).”

A gathering to remember Philip will be held at 44 Degrees North, 17 Main St., Milbridge, on Saturday, June 30, at 2 p.m.
