Hall Quarry and Bucksport

Patricia (Pat) E. Robinson of Hall Quarry and Bucksport, was born on April 3, 1944 and peacefully passed away on Sept. 21, 2020. She was born at MDI Hospital and spent most of her younger life on the “Island” working at Jackson Laboratory. In her mid-40s she moved to Bucksport and worked at Champion Paper Mill. Pat was always on the go. She was very involved in the lives of her friends and family. She embraced being a Nana. She could be found taking the little ones to school or on a Saturday afternoon outing. You could find her having a drink and enjoying life with all others. Her time was spent with her partner of many years, Henry (Hank) Mattson of Bucksport. They took trips to meet friends, go golfing, have a meal or just get out of the house to be adventurous. Pat was a most memorable woman. You could count on her for many laughs, the truth and much encouragement. She will be greatly missed by ALL. She touched the lives of many.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Arlene (Sanborn) Gonzales of Hall Quarry, her loving husband, George Robinson, of Hall Quarry, sister-in-law Mary Gonzales of Hall Quarry, brother-in-law Clyde Carter of Otter Creek and sister-in-law Connie Gonzales of Orland.

She is survived by her longtime partner Henry Mattson of Bucksport, her brother Ralph Gonzales of Orland, brother and sister-in-law Rolf and Dottie Wayne of Pennsylvania, brother James Gonzales of Hall Quarry, sister Joan Carter of Otter Creek, and sister and brother-in-law Libby and Roger Pomeroy of Seal Cove, grandchildren Corey and Kelly Robinson and Mathew and Kimberly Burgess of Orland, great-grandchildren Aliza, Abigail and Mason, as well as many nieces and nephews who will affectionately remember her as Aunt Ninki. Services and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date for family and friends.
