COVE – Marilyn E. “Sally” Robbins was born in Hope on Valentine’s Day, 1932, to Willard and Evelyn Brown. Sally went to be with the Lord on Nov. 28, 2016, after a heroic battle with bone cancer. She will always be remembered for her dedication to her family, joke telling, cookie baking, and many other unforgettable qualities.

Sally was married for 65 years to husband Aldene, who also passed away in March of this year. Sally was a caregiver who never had a bad word for anyone, and was loved by all who knew her. With a long list of friends, it is impossible to name them all, but you all know she loved you.

She is survived by her three children, Craig, Steve, Lorie, and their spouses; grandchildren Hannah, Chelsea, Lindsey, and Dustin, along with great-grandson Dalton; and her brother Mike and family from New Hampshire.

Sally always looked forward to her Sundays when she would spend happy times with her church friends and Pastor Bob Maddocks. If anyone would like to make a donation in her memory, please do so to the Eden Baptist Church in Salisbury Cove.

Know when to pay your respects.
