Kevit R. Cook, 86, of Palm Beach, Fla., and Northeast Harbor, died peacefully of natural causes. Kevit graduated from the Taft School in 1954 and Brown University in 1959. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed golf, tennis and, in his younger days, ice hockey and football. He was a member of the NEH Tennis Club and the Pot and Kettle. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Gail, two daughters, Cecily and Lida, and three grandchildren, Catherine and Brad Fay and Mimi Isle. There will be a private family service this summer in Maine.
