Great Cranberry Island
On Nov. 4, 1930, George Arvard Savage was born to George H. Savage and Althea DeWitt Savage in Ellsworth. We are saddened to announce that Arvard passed away Aug. 4, 2021, at the age of 90. Arvard lived many places but always called Great Cranberry Island his home and was able to spend the last 50 years of his life there.
