Frank W. Rumill Sr., 87, died Aug. 30, 2020, peacefully at home after battling cancer. He was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Tremont, the son of George and Euphemia (Daws) Rumill Sr. Frank worked at Testa’s Restaurant for over 50 years and Geddy’s Restaurant for a few years.
Frank was an honest and hard-working man. He loved working and enjoyed spending time with family playing cards. Frank could always be spotted at Gott’s Store buying scratch-off tickets and ice cream.
Frank is survived by son Frank Rumill Jr. and wife Tammy; daughter Lorraine Peterson and husband Keith; son Ralph Rumill and wife Kathy; granddaughter Erica Bunker; great-grandson Wyatt Bunker and family; grandson Dusten Phippen; great-granddaughter Kaylee Phippen; grandson Michael Conners; granddaughter Christy Elliot; great-grandons Conner, Lennox and family; sister Kassie Lunt and many nieces and nephews; family friends Buddy Condon, Brian Harkins, Tom Testa and Judy Testa and many more.
He was predeceased by sisters Rose and Rachel and brothers Fred and George.
A graveside service will be held at the Marsh Road Cemetery on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, at 1 p.m.
