SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Eurith Faye Harper passed away April 7, 2015, unexpectedly. Born May 1 1979, in Colorado Springs, Colo., Faye and her family traveled a lot in her younger years, then lived here in Maine, Wyoming, Kansas and Florida. She was always the one in charge and loved to cook. She met her husband, Christopher Hopkins, here in Maine. They had the most beautiful wedding. She always said it was the happiest day of her life, until they had their son on June 22, 2007.
Faye leaves behind a wonderful, caring son, Cody James Hopkins, her mother Freya Gallagher, her fiancé Thomas Ruksins; sisters Daisy and Annie Harper, half-brother Jay Harper and wife, Rhonda, half-sister Lisa Harper, nephews Brody and Harper Robinson, and their father Daniel Robinson; mother-in-law Karen Hopkins, and father-in-law Paul Hopkins.
Faye was predeceased by her father, Dale Harper, and her husband, Christopher James Hopkins.
In memory of Faye, a service will be held at the Tremont Congregational Church at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 3, followed by a gathering at the parish to celebrate her life.
There are no happy endings.
Endings are the saddest part,
