Erbern W. Tourtelotte

NORTHEAST HARBOR — Erbern W. Tourtelotte, 86, died Oct. 20, 2015, at MDI Hospital. He was born March 19, 1929, in Brewer, the son of Roy E. and Mildred (Seavey) Tourtelotte.

Erbern was married to Olive (Wilbur) Taylor and they made their home in Northeast Harbor. He worked for Branscom Oil and H.E. Bucklin. He also worked as a gardener for over 22 years at Rockefeller Estates. He was a very good neighbor and a very caring person.

Erbern is survived by his stepdaughter, Rebecca T. Brown and husband Bud, of Northeast Harbor; two stepsons Malcolm A. Taylor and Marshall I. Taylor and wife, Arlene, all of Rockford, Mich.; nine step-grandchildren; a cousin Pat Hamor and husband, Steve, of Northeast Harbor; special friends, Frank and Cindy White, of Trenton.

He was predeceased by his wife, Olive, on Feb. 18, 2006; by his half brother Edwin Sprague; and a stepson, Carlton A. Taylor Jr.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Northeast Harbor.
