Clyde “Hoppy” Murray Hopkins

flagOBIT ISL-HopkinsBANGOR — Clyde “Hoppy” Murray Hopkins, 64, died Dec. 3, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 26, 1947, the son of Florence (Patten) and Clyde L. Hopkins Jr.

He was a lieutenant corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a combat engineer.

He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lovell Hopkins of Brockton, Mass.; two sons, Robert Allen Hopkins and wife, Elena, Barry Hopkins and wife, Jennifer: a daughter, Amy Hopkins; five grandsons and three granddaughters.

A committal service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Otter Creek Cemetery, Otter Creek.
