OTTER CREEK — Cheryl Mack, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Otter Creek on Oct. 30, 2015. Cheryl was born on Aug. 30, 1961, in Neptune, N.J., where she attended Wall Township High School and Rutgers University. After she finished school, she took the time to settle down and become a mother to five children, four of whom she is survived by. She was predeceased by a son, Paul. She is survived by her son Kyle Killion of Northeast Harbor and three daughters, Krista Killion of Wall Township, N.J.; Jill Esty of Bangor; and Julia Maggilo of Nottingham, Pa.
Cheryl was always full of youthful enthusiasm and always passed that along to anybody who was around her. She was also a very caring person who was always there to help those who needed it, whether it was a ride somewhere or staying in one of the kids’ old bedrooms at her house in Otter Creek. She also made sure to have at least one pet in the house at all times. Animals were always something that brought her happiness and at times she may have wanted to talk to an animal over some people.
Because Cheryl loved animals so much, any donations may be made in her name to the Hancock County SPCA. Arrangements were made through Jordan-Fernald and will be announced at a later date.
