Aidan William Butler

Mount Desert

Aidan William Butler, 18, died unexpectedly June 26, 2022, in the hospital in Bangor. He was born Oct. 18, 2003, to Joshua Butler and Pier Fisher. He attended MDES and MDI and was working to finish his education with his GED. Aidan means “little fire” in Gaelic, and he surely lived up to his name. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time outdoors. He loved music, any type and loud. He especially loved rap, country and bluegrass and everything in between.

He leaves behind siblings, James, Ruthie, Charlotte and Elizabeth, and half-brother Myles along with family and many friends. Also of special note, his girlfriend Sarah, who was very dear to him. Short but sweet, buddy, we’ll see you on the other side.

A service of memorial will be held July 30 at 4 p.m. at the Hall in Otter Creek. All are welcome.

Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert.
