ACADIA NAT’L PARK — Someone has spray painted trees, rocks and cairns along some of the hiking trails in the park, and Acadia’s law enforcement rangers want to find out who did it.

They believe it likely occurred sometime in January, according to Amanda Pollock, the park’s public affairs officer. She said there is an ongoing investigation.
