Stress reduction program coming



BAR HARBOR — An eight-week stress reduction group will meet at the Lisa Stewart Women’s Health Center, 330 Main St., starting in January. The program will help you take charge of your stress, your health and your life.

Mindfulness and meditation teacher Jennifer Harry will lead the sessions, which run Tuesdays from Jan. 12 through March 3 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Learn techniques to calm your mind, relax tense muscles, cope with stress, increase self-awareness and improve your health. Participants will learn a new relaxation technique each week, such as guided imagery, biofeedback, breathing exercises, mindfulness meditations, drawings and writing, and more.

The cost of the 8-week program is $200. Flexible payment plans are available.
