SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Common Good Café has announced the schedule for the Fourth Annual Soupstock Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon-7 p.m.
The all-day celebration of food and music at The Common Good Café, overlooking the ocean at Seawall, gets underway half an hour after the regular daily popover service ends. A plethora of taste tempting chef prepared soups, salads and casseroles, including the famous common good Mac ‘n’ cheese will be served buffet style all day. Face painting and balloon hats and animals will be part of the fun
Donations at the door support the Common Good Winter Soup Kitchen and Community Food and Educational Programs.
The musical lineup, arranged by Ricky Baker Cegelis, follows.
12 p.m. Bob Bowman, classic folk and ballads
1 p.m. Bob Winglass, local songwriter and troubadour
2 p.m. Eden Turnaround with Kathy Walsh, mellow jazz standards
3 p.m. The London Boys, all Beatles, all the time
4 p.m. Schroedinger’s Cat, high energy, anything goes
5 p.m. Banned From Eden (2 sets), rock and roll to satisfy your soul
