ELLSWORTH — Candidates competing in the June 14 primary election will take part in a public question-and-answer forum in the Ellsworth City Hall council chambers on Tuesday, May 31, 6:30 p.m. The forum will be moderated by Stephen Fay, managing editor of The Ellsworth American.
Participants will include William Clark and Steven E. Joy, candidates for the Republican nomination for Hancock County Commissioner in District I, from 6:30-7:15 p.m., and Ted Koffman and Moira O’Neill, candidates for the Democratic nomination for Maine State Senate District 7, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Maine (LWVME), The Ellsworth American and the Community Union of Hancock County.
