BAR HARBOR — The Maine Sea Coast Mission will hold its 10th Annual Christmas Open House at the Colket Center, 127 West St., on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
“The Christmas Open House is a wonderful way to welcome the community to the Sea Coast Mission’s home during the holiday season,” said Anna Silver, coordinator of this year’s open house.
“The Colket Center is truly at its most beautiful this time of the year,” she added. “In addition to four decorated Christmas trees, we’ll have on display over 20 volunteer-decorated holiday wreaths to be auctioned. As always, the generous donations made by those who attend contribute towards our Christmas Program helping to provide over 3000 presents to those most in need on the outer islands and Down East in Hancock and Washington counties.”
Side Street Café will cater the Christmas Open House, offering hors d’oeuvres, wine and cider.
