TREMONT—The Tremont Historical Society welcomes the public to an open house at the Bass Harbor Country Store Museum on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Exhibits of many historical aspects of Tremont are set up in the general store setting. The public is asked to help identify people, places and items in the society’s recent photo acquisitions. Also, appointments to explore genealogical records can be made. Refreshments will be available, as will be books by local authors.
The museum is at the corner of Granville Road and McMullen Avenue, Bass Harbor, opposite the Seafood Ketch.
