Health and wellness clinic to benefit garden project

MOUNT DESERT — A group of local health and wellness providers will participate in a clinic at the Mount Desert Elementary School (MDES) on Saturday, April 11, from 1-4 p.m. The goal of the event is to help provide opportunities for healthier and more vibrant communities.

Proceeds from the clinics will be donated to the MDES Garden and Greenhouse Project, which will bring agriculture and new learning opportunities into the classroom.

The clinics bring different health and wellness opportunities to our communities, where for many individuals, care might be inaccessible and unaffordable. They also provide a safe and comfortable environment for exploring new pathways to health and healing, and they support local organizations that also support our communities. A community is only as healthy as each individual.
