Auction to satisfy sweet tooth

Emmie McKay Sawyer has announced that “The Island Bible Camp Fund Pie/Dessert Auction will be at the Swan’s Island Baptist Church annex on Friday, June 15, at 6 p.m. We have island kids planning to attend faith-based camps toward the end of June and into early July so far. We welcome fudge, breads, quiches, dairy-free items, gluten-free items, etc. We need people to volunteer baking/cooking. Please drop off items at the annex by 5:30 p.m.; if possible, please label each item. We have greatly appreciated the support over the years. Our committee members are Nancy Carter, Marsha Douty Carlson, Donald Carlson, Brandi Morang, Annette Skaad Joyce, Michael Joyce, Rebekah Amburg Davis, Seth Joy, Michelle Joy and Emmie McKay Sawyer. Please feel free to contact any of them if you have any questions. Thank you!”

Meredith Creswell inspires us to sing with joy and has encouraged us to save the date for the first Hymn Sing of the season at the Advent Christian Church on Sunday, July 1, at 6 p.m. Welcome home, Meredith.
