BAR HARBOR — A group in Bar Harbor will join others around the state to mark the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March, a movement that drew between 3.5 million and 5 million people into the streets in cities across the world to rally for women’s rights.

Reported to be the largest protest in U.S. history, the Women’s March gave rise to thousands of progressive activist groups in Maine and around the country. One of those groups, Indivisible MDI, will hold a Power to the Polls event in the Village Green on Saturday, Jan. 20, at noon.
