MOUNT DESERT— Mount Desert’s summer trash collection schedule ended on Saturday, Sept. 12. The winter trash collection schedule started Monday, Sept. 14. Trash will now be collected once a week. The collection schedule is available in the town report (yellow pages) and online at mtdesert.org.
