Sunbeam scoping session

MOUNT DESERT — On March 14, 10 Maine boatbuilders and boatyard owners donated their time and expertise to meet on the Maine Sea Coast Mission’s Sunbeam V in Northeast Harbor and discuss the possible refurbishment or replacement of the 74-foot vessel.

Sunbeam V has brought medical care, pastoral support, community gatherings and education programs to the residents of eastern Maine’s unbridged islands since 1995.
