Life jacket recall

BURNABY, British Columbia. — Mustang Survival is recalling certain Inflatable Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) that were manufactured between September 2014 and September 2015.

The model number and date of manufacture can be found on the approval label sewn on to the inside front each PFD. The recall affects MD 3183, MD 3184 and MD 3188 models.

Effective immediately, users are advised to inspect their Mustang Survival PFDs, avoid using affected PFDs and immediately return them. There is a risk that the bladder may tear when the lobes are flexed apart while fully inflated.
