MOUNT DESERT — “Diver Ed” Monat organized a harbor cleanup by 19 volunteers last weekend.

While scalloping in the area of Bartlett’s Landing in Pretty Marsh this winter, Monat noticed a lot of trash and decided to hold his next harbor cleanup there.
Monat and the League of Underwater Superheroes collected trash including batteries, tools, pipe pieces, golf balls and an old can of Beefaroni.
Diver Ed makes new friends everywhere he goes.
