GREEN AND GROWING … Members of Snow Ross’ third grade class at Trenton Elementary School show off a tray off seedlings they planted with the help of Whitney Ciancetta, an ed tech at the school (pictured at left). The Bar Harbor Garden Club made a gift towards the school’s greenhouse project and gardening endeavors. Each month the entire staff and student body taste a sample of something that they or local farmers have grown.

Although there were 100 fewer entries than last year, the event raised $12,000 for the Parent Teacher Organization and the eighth grade class end-of-year trip.
