- Ted Koffman of Bar Harbor plans to kick off his campaign for the Democratic nomination for the State Senate District 7 seat with a reception at Havana in Bar Harbor on Friday, March 11, from 5-6 p.m. The former state representative and head of Maine Audubon collected signatures at the Democratic caucuses at Mount Desert Island High School on Sunday. He will face Moira O’Neill of Surry in the June primary for the chance to run against Sen. Brian Langley (R-Hancock County) in November. Koffman ran against Langley two years ago.
