SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Southwest Harbor Public Library has added another tech help session to its roster of weekly help sessions intended to assist members of the public to navigate a computer or mobile device, the download library, and the library catalog.
Shared Tech Help, the newest offering, is an additional help hour, available upon request, from 2-3 p.m. on Thursdays. This session may include one or more individuals with tech questions covering exploring the online catalog to find and reserve a book and manage your patron account, accessing the download libraries (ebooks, audio books and music), and troubleshooting your Apple computer, device or phone. Call to request this help by 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
The weekly Apple/download library help on Wednesdays runs at a new time, from 2-4 p.m. This tech help covers Apple products and eBook, audio book and music downloading. Registration is required to guarantee a half-hour slot of one-on-one help during these times. The other weekly general tech help sessions continue as before on Mondays, 2-4 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for basic computer and device assistance.
Out of respect for our volunteers and staff who provide this help, please come equipped with charged devices and power cords and necessary usernames and password information relevant to your question.
