MOUNT DESERT — The Mount Desert Island Historical Society’s 44th annual Strawberry Festival, featuring fresh strawberry shortcake, is set for next Tuesday, July 9, from 1-3 p.m. at the Somesville fire station.
Proceeds benefit the historical society and the Seal Cove Auto Museum.
