Stanley on WWII-era fisheries



PENOBSCOT — Ralph Stanley of Southwest Harbor is set to give a talk about fishing during WWII at the Penobscot Marine Museum on Sunday, March 18, at 1 p.m.

“Ralph Stanley, our beloved historian, boatbuilder, musician, and Board member, will talk about the perils, adventures, and day-to-day work of fishing out of Southwest Harbor during the War,” museum staff said in a statement.
