SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The owners of Sips, Jennifer and Scott Worcester, are joining forces with Santa Claus to ensure that children find a present under their tree on Christmas morning.
On Sunday, from 7 a.m. until noon, the first 150 people who bring an unwrapped gift to donate will receive a free breakfast. Santa will be on hand to accept the donations.
Scott Worcester said the donated gifts will be taken to the First National Bank, where they will be distributed through the bank’s Angel Tree program. The presents should be unwrapped so the Angel Tree volunteers can make sure they match the needs of specific children.
All donated presents will go to children living on Mount Desert Island, Worcester said.
