Shellfish closure

AUGUSTA — The recently reopened district from Stockton Springs to Machiasport is closed again to European oyster, surf/hen clam, carnivorous snail and mussel harvesting due to the risk of naturally occurring marine biotoxin.

Area 64-A includes Stockton Springs, Deer Isle/Stonington up to Machiasport. Area 64-B, including Cobscook Bay and the eastern shore of Washington County from Calais to West Quoddy Head, is closed to clam, snail and mussel harvesting.
