TRENTON — The Maine School Garden Network is hosting Maine School Garden Day on Saturday, April 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Trenton Elementary School.
This event is a day-long opportunity for educators and school garden stakeholders to network with each other, earn recertification credits, receive technical assistance and learn from experts the best practices for integrating school garden curricula into their schools.
The keynote speaker will be Mary Dunn, a life-long educator who has been a gardener for more than forty years. She will present “Reflections of a Retired Garden Educator.”
Lunch will be served by the cafeteria staff at Trenton Elementary School who will focus on locally grown products for the meal.
