BAR HARBOR — Two local businesses saw unconscious customers revived with CPR this week.
On Jan. 12, a patron at Little Anthony’s collapsed and became unresponsive, staff said. Two other customers administered CPR. The person was breathing again when emergency personnel arrived a few minutes later.
A customer at Hannaford required CPR on Jan. 16.
Employees dialed 911 when a customer appeared to be in trouble Saturday, Store Manager Samantha Pease said.
Bar Harbor paramedics arrived quickly, administered CPR and took the person to the hospital.
“I was impressed at the response time and my staff’s ability to handle it,” Pease said. “Staff kept the area blocked off so the fire department and police had the room they needed to work.”
