Penobscot leader to speak



BAR HARBOR — James Eric Francis, Sr. will speak at the first Human Ecology Forum of the new year at College of the Atlantic Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 4:10 p.m.

Francis, who is the director of cultural and historic preservation for the Penobscot Nation, will speak on “Penobscot Sense of Place,” viewing the landscape of Maine from an indigenous point of view using language, landscape, and lore.
