SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Nomination papers for elected town seats became available on Monday, Jan.27.
There are open seats on the Board of Selectmen, Southwest Harbor School Committee and the Mount Desert Island High School Board of Trustees.
On the selectmen, seats held by Chairman Lydia Goetze and Vice Chairman Ryan Donahue expire at the end of the fiscal year. Seats held by Ingrid Wilbur-Kachmar and James Sawyer on the School Committee are set to expire this year. On the High School Board of Trustees, the seat held by Wilbur-Kachmar will expire at the end of June.
Those interested in serving the town on any one of these boards needs to have their nomination papers submitted to the town office by March 6.
