Maine Community Foundation wants to hear from residents

TRENTON — The Maine Community Foundation will hold a Community Conversation for Hancock County residents at Big Cat’s, 163 Bar Harbor Road, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 7:30-9:30 a.m.

Steve Rowe, the foundation’s president and CEO, will facilitate the event, the eighth in a series of conversations happening across the state. The gathering includes breakfast.

The community foundation hopes to hear how it can help build on Hancock County’s strengths and improve the quality of life for its residents. Information also will be available about grant-making and scholarships. A statewide institution, Maine Community Foundation awarded more than $25 million in grants and scholarships last year.
