BAR HARBOR — Two cruise ships will make their maiden voyages to Bar Harbor next weekend.
On Sept. 24, the town welcomes Seven Seas Mariner and on Sept. 25, Europa 2.
Mariner is a 709-foot ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet that can carry up to 700 passengers. All of the ship’s staterooms are suites, and each one has a balcony.
Europa 2 is a 740-foot ship in the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet. The contemporary art collection aboard the ship is one of the largest at sea, featuring works by Hans Hartung and Damien Hirst.
