Knotweed used to treat Lyme

BAR HARBOR — The use of Japanese knotweed as treatment for an invasive Lyme infection is the subject of a class at the Whole Health Center in Town Hill on Saturday, July 22, from 9:30-12:30 p.m.

The class includes a brief field trip for identifying and gathering the plant and a demonstration of preparing the root both as a tea and as a tincture.
