MOUNT DESERT — An opening reception is set for Thursday, July 28, from 5-7 p.m. at the Great Harbor Maritime Museum in Northeast Harbor.
A new exhibit is the work of all Mount Desert Island third graders, who took a trip to Acadia National Park last fall with Park rangers and their teachers and art teachers.
Exhibits also include antique outboard motors, films and a celebratory arch created for Acadia Senior College’s NEH Library May’s exhibit, “100.”
Outside is a sculpture created by artists Melita Westerlund and Susan Lerner.
