BAR HARBOR — A malfunction in the fire alarm system at Mount Desert Island High School at around 8:45 Monday morning caused the evacuation of the building. Principal Matt Haney said the Bar Harbor Fire Department arrived quickly and determined there was no danger, and everyone was able to return to the building shortly after 9 a.m.
