BAR HARBOR — An evening of fun and learning for all ages is in store for attendees of The Nature of Halloween at College of the Atlantic’s George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5-8 p.m.

The museum will be haunted with creepy exhibits and activities. Participants will sample treats made from real insects, learn about bats and bugs from park rangers, touch creepy bones from the museum’s collection and see live snakes and owls.

This haunted happenstance is suitable for all ages, and costumes are welcome. Admission is by donation. Contact the museum at 288-5395 or email [email protected]

The event is sponsored by the museum and Acadia National Park. The George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History is located on the COA campus at 105 Eden St.
